Once upon a time there was a baby ladybug with their momma. They went to a house because a flood was coming and they had to get out of the water, and the mom said “hurry hurry let’s go to the house.” But the water kept rising, and rose through the house. So the mom said “hurry hurry let’s go to the top of the refrigerator.” but the water kept rising, all the way to the top of the refrigerator. So the mom said, “hurry hurry let’s climb on this jar.” But the water kept rising, all the way to the top of the jar.
“Oh no,” said the momma ladybug, “there’s nowhere else to go. We’re going to drown!” she cried, and she and the baby cried as the water came closer and closer to them.
But then, the jar started rising with the water, and it floated up off the refrigerator, and then it floated out of the house, and then it floated into the sunshine and carried the momma ladybug and her baby all the way to safety.
